Sunshine's Jeep Rental - Arrival Information
The Sunshine's Jeep Rental team is excited about your upcoming trip to St. John, USVI!
FOR YOUR ARRIVAL:
When you send us your flight arrival time to the STT airport, we will schedule an appointment to meet you in St. John. We offer vehicle pick ups at multiple locations, to be confirmed 24 hours ahead of arrival.
Ferry pick up:
Please call us once you have boarded the ferry in St. Thomas to confirm your actual St. John arrival time. We will then meet you at the Crown Bay ferry dock, "The Creek" in Cruz Bay, St. John with the vehicle. If you are arriving to the Cruz Bay dock, we are only authorized by local authorities to pick up one driver per vehicle and bring them to our garage (a few blocks away) to pick up their rental.
Note: If you are the only guest arriving at the Cruz Bay dock at that time, we can bring the vehicle to you, however. (Only one vehicle per ferry arrival)
Our representative will be wearing a royal blue shirt with the Sunshine's logo and holding a Sunshine's welcome sign. Please let us know if you will catch an earlier or later ferry. (Please note that we do not have regular garage hours, instead we schedule appointment times and locations to meet you.If you request to change your appointment time last minute, we cannot guarantee that we will have a representative to meet you but will do our best to accommodate you)
Garage pick up:
We will meet you with the vehicle at the scheduled appointment time at our garage
Cruz Bay hotels & The Westin:
We are happy to pick up the main driver and bring them to our garage to rent the vehicle at the scheduled appointment time
We will charge the balance due of your rental to your credit card on file 30 days before your arrival
Express Check in: We collect your contact information ahead of time when you reserve the vehicle for a quicker vehicle pick up process. When we meet you with the vehicle, we verify your credit card and drivers license and have you sign the rental agreement. Then you can quickly be on your way to start a great vacation in paradise!
FOR YOUR RETURN:
We recommend that you plan on catching the ferry approximately 3 hours before your flight departs as you do have to go through U.S Customs and security on your way out of St. Thomas, USVI. We will schedule a time to have you meet our representative and return the vehicle at the Rental Lot (across from Dolphin Market above the roundabout in Cruz Bay, St. John.) based on your flight departure time. We must be present to go over the vehicle and ensure there are no damages and a full tank of gas. PLEASE DO NOT abandon the Jeep at the ferry dock or your hotel. You will be charged $250+.
